Jakarta, 28 August 2017 – On Eid al-Adha Day 10 Dhul-Hijjah 1438 Hijriyah, Telkomsel gave sacrificial animal donation which consist of 130 cows and 685 goats for people located in hundreds of places across Indonesia.

President Director of Telkomsel Ririek Adriansyah said, "Telkomsel donates sacrificial animal to be distributed to the community, especially around Telkomsel's operational area.  Our commitment is to be a company that always care about the society and its surroundings, hence we strive to give more benefit to them by handing over this sacrificial animal to the rightful and needy people. "

Ririek added that the assistance provided is a proof that Telkomsel always implements good corporate citizenship in every operational motion of its business. "This activity shows our commitment and concern for the Indonesian people in need, and as an expression of our gratitude for the performance that has been achieved. Hopefully, the contribution from Telkomsel's company and employees' throughout Indonesia is a blessing, beneficial to all parties, and sustainable, " explained Ririek.

In Eid al-Adha this year, more than 41,000 packages of sacrificial animals are distributed by Telkomsel to the needy and eligible communities in various regions. Overall, the number of Telkomsel's sacrificial animal packages distributed for this year increased compared to last year, in line with the increasing coverage of Telkomsel's operational areas and commitment to bring awareness to the people of Indonesia.
