What is Special Customer and how does it work?

Special Customer is the new method of customer categorization determined based on the customer’s length of subscription and average spending. The higher your category is, the more services and special programs you can enjoy. By becoming a Special Customer, all kartuHalo, simPATI, KARTU As, and Loop customers have the chance to enjoy Telkomsel services and loyalty programs according to their level respectively.

How do I define my Special Customer category?

Your Special Customer category will be determined based on your length of subscription and average spending, with the following criteria:

What benefit do I get by earning a certain Special Customer category?

Your Special Customer category will determine the amount of Telkomsel POIN you get, what loyalty programs you can participate in, and other services you can enjoy.

Do I have to register to become a Special Customer?

No, you will automatically become a Special Customer based on your length of subscription and average spending.

Can my Special Customer category change?

Yes. Your Special Customer category will be upgraded based on your consumption for the last 3 months. The higher your average spending is, the higher your level will be.

  • If your average spending for the last 3 months is sufficient to upgrade your level, your category will be upgraded in the next month.
  • If your average spending for the last 3 months is lower than your previous achievement, your category will stay the same until the next 3-month evaluation.

Is there a validity period for the Special Customer program?

Your Special Customer category will be upgraded every month based on the Special Customer mechanism.

Telkomsel POIN is a loyalty program intended for Telkomsel customers (kartuHalo, simPATI, KARTU As, and Loop). You can earn Telkomsel POIN that can be redeemed for various special offers and benefits that can be checked on Telkomsel POIN rewards catalog via *700# or MyTelkomsel App.

How do I earn Telkomsel POIN?

You can start collecting Telkomsel POIN in 24 hours after recharging your prepaid credit balance or paying your postpaid bill in a minimum amount of Rp50,000 (in a month).

  • kartuHalo customers will get Telkomsel POIN after completing their bill payment.
  • simPATI, KARTU As, and Loop customers will get Telkomsel POIN in 24 hours after recharging credit balance.

How many Telkomsel POIN can I earn?

You can earn Telkomsel POIN based on your Special Customers category with the following criteria:

Yes, you have to recharge or pay your bill at least Rp50,000 a month to start collecting Telkomsel POIN.

Can my Telkomsel POIN expire?

Yes, your Telkomsel POIN is valid to redeem only until December 31st, 2019 at 23:59 GMT+7 (Jakarta).

What can I redeem my Telkomsel POIN for?

You can redeem your Telkomsel POIN for the following categories:

  • Telkomsel SMS, voice and data packages.
  • Digital product packages such as ringtones, content and games.

Can I send my Telkomsel POIN to a friend?

No, you cannot send Telkomsel POIN to another Telkomsel number.

How do I check my Telkomsel POIN balance?

Simply type POIN and send it via SMS to 777 or login to MyTelkomsel App to view and manage your Telkomsel POIN.

Can corporate customers also earn Telkomsel POIN?

All corporate customers in the Personal-Paid category are eligible for Telkomsel POIN.

How many Telkomsel POIN can be earned by corporate customers in the personal-paid category?

The amount of Telkomsel POIN that Personal-Paid Corporate customers can earn is the same with the regular customers.

What about Corporate-Paid customers?

The normal Telkomsel POIN calculation does not apply to customers of Corporate Paid category, but they will receive special loyalty program by Telkomsel. Please contact your Telkomsel Account Management for more information.

What is Special Customer Reward program?

It is a Telkomsel program for Diamond, Platinum, and Gold customers where they can get one of the 4 reward options by redeeming Telkomsel POIN.

Who can enjoy Special Customer Reward?

All existing prepaid (simPATI, KARTU AS, Loop) and postpaid (kartuHalo) customers who belong to Diamond, Platinum, and Gold customer category.

When does Special Customer Reward program start?

This program starts on August 1st to 31st, 2019.

You can redeem your Telkomsel POIN to get one of these rewards (depends on your customer category):

Redemption Mechanism:

What are the terms and conditions for each reward?

  1. MAXstream data quota
    1. MAXstream package is only valid for domestic use (not valid for International Roaming; you will be charged separately) with 3-day validity.
    2. Includes access to all Live Channels on MAXstream (except Cartoon Network).
    3. The quota can be used to access MAXtream, HOOQ, VIU, Nickelodeon Play, Klik Film, and beIN Sports Connect.
    4. After you ran out of quota, you will be charged with internet basic tariff (PAYU/non-package).
