Let's Have Fun at #BhayPlastik Festival

#BhayPlastik Festival is the final event of #BhayPlastik activities. #BhayPlastik Festival will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at Lapangan PPI Pussenif, Bandung starting from 12:00 to 20:00 WIB.

Guest Stars and Other Fun Activities

Don't miss Sheryl Sheinafia, Mocca, and Pusakata's performances and you can also join other activities such as community sharing session, plastic recycling workshop, and pop markets from selected tenants. This festival is open for public for free. You just need to bring your tote bag, tumbler, and lunch box to show your participation in reducing plastic waste with #BhayPlastik movement.

Are Telkomsel staterpacks made from plastic material?

Telkomsel starter packs are made from PET. Not all plastic materials are the same, PET is not ordinary plastic material and has special characteristics such as:
 

  • Not toxic and safe to use even for food & beverage containers.
  • Lightweight compared to various other cost-effective materials in the logistics field.
  • Shatter or tear resistant and ideal as a packaging material.
  • Can be 100% recycled and have sustainable functions.

Why using PET?

We choose to use PET because of its many positive sides:

  • The recycling process uses energy that is economical and eco-friendly.

What is #BhayPlastik program?

#BhayPlastik program is a social movement initiated by Telkomsel to show our concern about the environment and be wiser in using plastic. Ultimately, we want to help reduce plastic waste, especially in Indonesia.

Through the #BhayPlastik hashtag, Telkomsel wants to invite as many people as possible to become a part of this social movement, such as making us of recycled plastic to create bracelets, bring a tumbler to reduce plastic bottles, use stainless straw, and start using tote bags.

What are the purpose and benefit of #BhayPlastik program?

The main purposes are to create environmental awareness and be wiser in the use of plastic. Telkomsel also invites customers to take concrete actions through "Join the Movement #BhayPlastik" by posting videos or photos of their actions in reducing plastic activities.

When does the #BhayPlastic program begin?

#BhayPlastik activities will begin on December 17th, 2018 on digital media. The road show activities will be held in January 2019.

Who can take part in the #BhayPlastik activities?

Anyone can take part in the activities (Telkomsel customers or not). The most important thing is to have a commitment to reduce the use of plastic and participate in supporting #BhayPlastik activities by inviting friends and family to participate.
