What is Family Mobile Data?

It is a collaborative service between Telkom and Telkomsel in the form of an IndiHome add-on service that offers a family quota package from Telkomsel. Family Mobile Data consists of a national quota (cannot be used for international roaming) which can be shared among the members and valid on all Telkomsel networks (2G, 3G and 4G).

What are the benefits of Family Mobile Data service?

The internet quota can be used for 3-6 family members.
Unlimited phone calls and SMS to fellow family members.
Bill payments are made simpler through integration with IndiHome bills.
You can manage all members and the quota value anytime.

What is the minimum and maximum number of SIM cards in the Family Mobile Data package?

You need a minimum of 3 Telkomsel card numbers. If you have less than 3 numbers, you'll need to add a Telkomsel number to complete the registration. Family Mobile Data allows a maximum of 6 registered SIM cards, including the Main Number.

What will occur with my IndiHome packages and bills if I subscribe to Family Mobile Data?

If you're currently a Telkomsel customer, you can subscribe to Family Mobile Data using your existing number. If you don't have a Telkomsel card, you'll need to buy a Telkomsel number beforehand.

How long is the validity period of Family Mobile Data package?

The Family Mobile Data package is active for 30 days and will renew automatically every 30 days as long as you subscribe to Family Mobile Data and make timely monthly payments (billed together with IndiHome).

Can I use data/phone services overseas with the Family Mobile Data package?

No, to enjoy roaming services, you need a separate package.

How long is the minimum subscription period for the Family Mobile Data package? Is there a penalty if I unsubscribe?

No minimum subscription period is required. You can cancel the Family Mobile Data package at any time. If you cancel before the current active period ends, Family Mobile Data will remain active until the end of that period.

Will my Telkomsel Halo package and bill still be valid when I subscribe to Family Mobile Data?

If you have a Telkomsel Halo package, you will still receive a separate bill for the card, apart from the Family Mobile Data bill. Your personal package will be used before the Family Mobile Data package.

Do I have to buy credit to keep my number active when I subscribe to Family Mobile Data?

All numbers included in the Family Mobile Data package will get an extended active period as long as they remain subscribed to Family Mobile Data. There's no need to purchase additional credit. Please note that the Telkomsel number used in the Family Mobile Data package must be active and not in the grace period to access the Family Mobile Data service.

If the internet quota in the Family Mobile Data package has run out, can I or my family still use Telkomsel internet services?

You must purchase regular internet services for each Telkomsel card to continue using the internet. You can select an internet package that meets your requirements.

How do I make a payment for the Family Mobile Data package?

The Family Mobile Data package bill will be included in your IndiHome bill. You can make the payment for both bills together using the available payment methods.

How do I subscribe to the Family Mobile Data package?

Make sure your MyTelkomsel App account is connected to the IndiHome service number.

Select the "Buy Package" menu
You’ll find a recommendation menu of “Paket Kuota HP Sekeluarga” (Family Mobile Data package).
Or, choose “Internet Mobile”.
An option of “Paket Kuota HP Sekeluarga” (Family Mobile Data package) will appear.
Follow the Family Mobile Data registration steps to complete.

The registration process only takes about 4-5 minutes.

Can I register for the Family Mobile Data package if I use a Telkomsel Halo number?

Family Mobile Data Package is valid for all Telkomsel Halo (postpaid) and SIMPATI (prepaid) customers. However, for the Main Number, you must use a SIMPATI number.

What are the requirements for subscribing to the Family Mobile Data package?

To register for the Family Mobile Data package, you must have at least 3 active Telkomsel SIM cards and have purchased any data package at least once.

What are the requirements for registering a Telkomsel number as the Main Number?

Main Number is a non-corporate SIMPATI (prepaid) number.
Not registered as an Admin or Member of the Family Mobile Data package.
Have purchased a Telkomsel data package at least once since the card was activated.

What are the requirements for registering a Telkomsel number as the Member Number?

Member Number is a non-corporate SIMPATI (prepaid) or Telkomsel Halo (postpaid) number.

Can I register another provider's number in the Family Mobile Data package?

No, the Family Mobile Data package is only valid for Telkomsel numbers.

Is there a registration fee for the Family Mobile Data service?

You can register for free. You only need to pay the package price which will be added to your IndiHome bill every month.

I've paid my IndiHome bill, so why isn't my Family Mobile Data package renewed automatically?

If you've paid your IndiHome bill and the Family Mobile Data package isn't renewed after the active period ends, please reach out to the IndiHome Call Center at 188 or on social media @IndiHome.

When will the Family Mobile Data package be billed?

Family Mobile Data package bills will be included in your IndiHome bill for the next month. For instance, if you activate the Family Mobile Data package in July, the Family Mobile Data bill will be added to your IndiHome bill for early August. The Family Mobile Data package will be billed completely and remain active for 30 days.

What are the Main Number and a Member Number?

The Main Number has more access and authority than the Member Number in terms of managing the Family Mobile Data package. Following are some of the features that Main Number can use:

Adding Members with the "Add Member/Tambah Anggota" feature.
Removing Members with the "Delete Member/Hapus Anggota" feature.
Allocate quota for Main Number with "Set Quota/Atur Kuota" feature.
Unsubscribe from Family Mobile Data with the "Unsubscribe/Berhenti Berlangganan".

How do I access Family Mobile Data service dashboard through MyTelkomsel App?

Main Number or Member Number can access the dashboard on MyTelkomsel App through this link . Please install the MyTelkomsel App beforehand.

Can I add other Members to an active Family Mobile Data package?

Yes, you have the flexibility to add another Member whenever you want. However, if you add a new Member during the current package period, they will only be able to utilize the remaining data quota. As for other benefits, like calls and SMS, and the active period of the card, they will be effective in the subsequent period when the package is renewed.

Can I delete the Member Number registered on an active Family Mobile Data package?

Yes, you have the option to remove registered Member Numbers as long as the number of Members in the Family Mobile Data package exceeds 2 numbers.

How do I check the remaining Family Mobile Data quota?

You can check the remaining quota on each Family Mobile Data’s member.

How do I unsubscribe from Family Mobile Data?

To unsubscribe, make sure you have set your IndiHome as a main account on MyTelkomsel App. Next, please click the "Info" button on your IndiHome main account. Click the IndiHome active package and you’ll get info on Family Mobile Data package. Please click “Unsubscribe/Stop Subscription” and follow the next steps.

Can I switch my Family Mobile Data package type?

Yes, you can switch package types.

What happens when the active period of my Family Mobile Data package ends?

Your Family Mobile Data package will be automatically extended if there are no outstanding IndiHome bills. So, you don't need to worry if you have paid your IndiHome bill on time. Auto-renewal takes 4-5 hours. If after 5 hours your package is still not renewed automatically, you can contact the IndiHome Call Center at 188 or social media @IndiHome.

If I decide to unsubscribe from Family Mobile Data, will my active package be lost?

No, even if you decide to unsubscribe from Family Mobile Data, your package will remain active until the end of the period (30 days).

Terms and Conditions:

The Family Mobile Data offer applies to IndiHome customers.
IndiHome customers must have a Telkomsel number which can be used as a minimum of 1 Main Number and 2 Member Numbers.
Make sure that your Telkomsel number is still active, not in a position in arrears of payment (postpaid) and not in a grace period (prepaid).
In the Family Mobile Data package there is 1 Main Number and a maximum of 5 Telkomsel numbers that can be used as Members Number.
Currently, the Main Number that can be used is the SIMPATI (prepaid) number.
Family Mobile Data will be active for 30 days and will be renewed automatically. The subscription fee will be included in your IndiHome bill every month.
