SISCAMLING (Scam Prevention System)

The Terms and Conditions of SISCAMLING Services are an inseparable part of Telkomsel’s Product Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. By agreeing and continuing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by SISCAMLING Service Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), as follows:

1. Service is a proactive and adaptive protection solution from Telkomsel designed to help customers check phone numbers and avoid calls or SMS that may be spam or scams. This feature is supported by AI technology that analyzes communication patterns and signs of suspicious activity, allowing customers to receive notifications or real-time protection when a call or message is identified as a spam or scam threat. Service will be automatically active as long as the customer is connected to the VoLTE network.
2. For clarity purposes:
   1. Spam is unwanted mass messages or communications that disturb users.
   2. Scam is any form of fraud intended to illegally obtain data, access, or benefits from users.
   3. VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is a technology that allows users to make calls over the 4G LTE network. This technology must be enabled either through device settings or VoLTE activation on the customer’s number within the Telkomsel network for Service to work.
   4. Automatic SMS blocking means customers will not receive SMS sent from numbers identified as sending spam or scam messages. This feature is an inseparable part of Service and cannot be disabled.
3. Service uses AI technology to analyze communication patterns and signs of suspicious activity, such as call frequency and duration, recipient response, and customer reports. If the analyzed behavior and patterns indicate suspicious activity, the number will be marked as a spam or scam number.
4. AI technology used in SISCAMLING Service continuously learns and improves as customers use the Service. If a customer believes that a number is not spam or scam, the customer is advised to save the number in their contacts to reduce the chance of the number being identified as spam or scam.
5. You may provide feedback for Service through the available channels to improve the accuracy and performance of Service.
6. Call history identified as spam or scam can be viewed in Service mini app on MyTelkomsel App, except for SMS blocking feature.
7. You cannot directly access SMS that have been blocked by Telkomsel. However, if there is an incorrect blocking, you may report it through the available channels.
8. Some Service features only work on devices that support VoLTE and the latest version of MyTelkomsel App.
9. Service will be activated automatically if you meet Service activation requirements and follow the mechanism explained in FAQ section, with no additional charges.
10. You are fully responsible for keeping all information confidential for all activities carried out through Service. Telkomsel will never ask for confidential customer information, including but not limited to username, password, email, or one time password (OTP) verification codes. Telkomsel has the right to assume that any access to Service, including the use of accounts and passwords, is legally carried out by you. You hereby release Telkomsel from any claims that may arise in any form and from any party.
11. Telkomsel has the authority to stop Service and or take other actions in accordance with applicable laws if there is an indication of a violation of Terms of Use and or applicable laws, without prior notice to you.
12. Service is provided as a single service or product. You are not allowed to separate its components for use as more than one system or for other purposes.
13. You are not allowed to rent out or misuse Service or allow any third party to copy or use Service.
14. Service is provided on an “as is” basis as a preventive measure. Therefore, Telkomsel does not provide any statements, warranties, or guarantees, including guarantees of satisfactory quality, suitability for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or freedom from spam and scam in relation to provision of Service.
15. You understand and agree that Service is not an absolute and or primary protection tool to prevent spam and scams on your device. Furthermore, you also confirm that Telkomsel cannot be considered a validator, verifier, and or endorser to protect your device from spam and scams.
16. Telkomsel is not responsible to you and cannot be held liable for:
    1. Loss or damage to property, goods, or data, or injury or death of any person arising from or related to provision of Service, failure to provide telecommunication network services, or any cause related to Service;
    2. Indirect losses including special or consequential losses suffered by you, including but not limited to loss of profits including expected or anticipated profits, loss of revenue or business income, loss of data, loss of opportunity to earn profits or income, or any other indirect losses, if Telkomsel is unable to provide Service, or if you fail or are unable to obtain or use Service;
    3. Any claims, demands, costs, losses, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from one or more of the matters mentioned in points (a) to (b).
17. You agree to release and indemnify Telkomsel from any claims or losses incurred by Telkomsel or any third party, directly or indirectly, related to any violations, offenses, or criminal acts committed by you in using and or related to your use of Service.

19. These Terms of Use may be changed and or updated from time to time. You are advised to carefully read and regularly review this Terms of Use page to stay informed of any applicable changes if any.
