OCTA

These terms are a summary of the full OCTA Service Terms and Conditions (“OCTA T&C”) available on the OCTA Platform (tsel.id/Octa). In the event of any discrepancy, the full OCTA Platform T&C prevail. By purchasing an OCTA package and/or using the OCTA service, you agree to comply with the Telkomsel General Terms and Conditions of Use (https://www.telkomsel.com/terms-and-conditions) and the OCTA T&C. If you do not agree, you may not use the OCTA service.

To purchase an OCTA package and use this service, you must:

1. Have an active Telkomsel number and be at least 18 (eighteen) years old;
2. Log in to the OCTA Platform at tsel.id/Octa using your Telkomsel number and the verification code (OTP) sent to that number;
3. Have an active internet connection; and
4. Have a sufficient OCTA Credit balance for the AI models you intend to use.
5. You are responsible for all activities carried out through your account and Telkomsel number.

OCTA is an API-based AI model access service from PT Telekomunikasi Selular (“Telkomsel”). With one account, API keys and one OCTA Credit balance, you can access a wide range of AI models from multiple AI Model Providers on the OCTA Platform.

Telkomsel sells OCTA packages, issues and records OCTA Credits, and manages the OCTA Platform. AI models are developed and operated by third-party AI Model Providers, not by Telkomsel, and each is subject to the respective provider's terms of use (“Provider Terms”), which are linked on the OCTA Platform. AI Model Providers may apply their own safeguards and content filtering, so Input may be rejected or Output may be restricted.

The service currently provides API access to AI models only. The list of AI models and AI Model Providers, OCTA Credit consumption rates and the scope of the service may change from time to time and will be communicated through the OCTA Platform and/or Telkomsel's official channels. This service is intended for individual customers; use by business entities is governed by a separate agreement with Telkomsel.

You may use the service to develop and operate your own applications, websites or systems, including for commercial purposes. You may not resell, rent out or distribute API keys or direct access to the service to any other party. For reseller partnerships, please contact Telkomsel.

API keys are confidential. All usage through your API keys, including usage by other parties resulting from a leaked API key, will be deducted from your OCTA Credit balance and is your responsibility. If an API key is leaked or misused, deactivate it immediately on the OCTA Platform and report it to Telkomsel customer service. Telkomsel and AI Model Providers may apply reasonable technical limits, such as rate limits, Input size limits and quotas.

You are fully responsible for all Input you submit and for any use of the Output, and you must use the service in accordance with applicable law, AI ethics principles and the Provider Terms, without infringing the rights of third parties. You must not use Output as the deciding factor in decisions concerning human welfare without adequate verification. You are prohibited from:

1. Generating, distributing or facilitating unlawful content, including pornography, gambling, hate speech, discrimination, fraud, disinformation, impersonation, intellectual property infringement, plagiarism, malicious software (malware) or content that endangers children;
2. Reverse-engineering, extracting source code or attempting to access the systems of the service or the AI models outside the interfaces provided; and
3. Circumventing usage limits, billing systems or security mechanisms, or disrupting or unreasonably overloading the service.

1. OCTA packages contain OCTA Credits and internet quota and can only be purchased through MyTelkomsel. Package details, price, number of OCTA Credits, internet quota and its validity are displayed before purchase.
2. Prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with applicable regulations. Payment is made by deduction from prepaid balance, charge to postpaid bill and/or other valid payment methods available in MyTelkomsel.
3. OCTA Credits do not expire unless otherwise specified and communicated at the time of purchase. Internet quota is valid for the active period stated in the package and is subject to Telkomsel's data service terms.
4. OCTA Credits may only be used to access AI models through the service. They are not money, electronic money, a payment instrument, a deposit, a financial asset or an investment instrument, and may not be traded, transferred or exchanged for money.
5. Using AI models reduces your OCTA Credit balance according to each model's consumption rate, calculated on the number of Input and Output tokens, as shown on the OCTA Platform. Rates may be adjusted, for example following price changes by AI Model Providers; adjustments are announced before they take effect and apply only to subsequent usage.
6. OCTA Credits are not deducted for requests that fail to process due to disruption on the OCTA Platform or the AI model and produce no Output.

You will be notified of the success or failure of each transaction through MyTelkomsel and/or SMS. If payment has been charged but OCTA Credits are not recorded in your account, Telkomsel will investigate and, if confirmed, record the OCTA Credits or issue a refund in accordance with applicable provisions.

OCTA Credits that have been recorded and/or used cannot be refunded or exchanged for money, unless required by applicable law. If your balance is incorrectly deducted due to a service system disruption, Telkomsel will adjust your balance after verification.

Telkomsel processes your Personal Data relating to your account, Telkomsel number, transactions, OCTA Credit balance and usage metadata to provide the service, record consumption and carry out billing, in accordance with applicable Personal Data Protection laws and the Telkomsel Privacy Policy.

To generate Output, Input is forwarded through the OCTA Platform to the AI Model Provider of the model you select, and may be processed in data centres outside Indonesia depending on the selected model. Information on processing locations is available on the OCTA Platform. Telkomsel does not use your Input, Output, logs or metadata for model training, product development, profiling or marketing without your consent or another lawful basis, and requires AI Model Providers not to use such Input and Output for model training.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis by the AI Model Providers. Output is generated automatically by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased; it should not be used as the sole basis for any decision with a material impact without verification by an authorised and competent professional.

Telkomsel is responsible for managing the OCTA Platform, including system security, accounts, API keys, the forwarding of Input and Output, and the accuracy of OCTA Credit records. Operational responsibility for AI models, including changes, updates, discontinuation or disruptions to AI Model Provider systems, rests with the relevant AI Model Provider. You are responsible for the content of your Input, the consequences of using Output, and the use of your API keys by other parties due to your negligence. These provisions do not limit your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Telkomsel may change, add or discontinue AI models or service features, including as a result of decisions by AI Model Providers, with notice through the OCTA Platform and/or Telkomsel's official channels. Telkomsel may also restrict, suspend or terminate your access and/or API keys in the event of a breach of the OCTA T&C or Provider Terms, indications of misuse or security threats, or where required by a competent government authority. If the service is permanently discontinued, the handling of any remaining OCTA Credit balance will be communicated through Telkomsel's official channels.

The OCTA T&C may be updated from time to time in line with regulatory developments. Changes are announced before they take effect and, for changes that materially affect your rights, at least 7 (seven) days in advance. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of that change.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall first be settled amicably through deliberation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
