Local Quota is a type of internet quota that can be used in certain areas only, such as the area where you activate that quota and/or the neighboring areas. It can’t be used all across Indonesia.

Local Quota in each package may have different area coverage, depending on several things such as the location where you activate the quota and what data package you activate.

Data packages with Local Quota usually can only be used in the city where the packages are activated. However, it’s best to make sure by checking the detailed information or terms and conditions first when you buy the package.

Sometimes, if you’re in city border areas, the quota usage depends on the network service accuracy. There are several other factors too such as weather, land structure, population density and so on.

Local Quota is not a standalone quota, it’s a part of a Telkomsel data package along with several other quotas. Using Local Quota doesn’t require certain settings. You can immediately use it after activating the package that offers Local Quota in it, as long as you’re in the right area/location.

If you use it outside its area coverage, other quotas will be consumed instead, such as your regular internet quota. If you don’t have other quotas, your credit balance might be consumed based on basic internet tariff (PAYU/Pay as You Use).

Local Quota can be used to access any apps. You can use it for internet browsing, video streaming, gaming, messaging, etc—as long as you’re using it within its area coverage.

1. Via Website
   • Go to this page.
   • Choose the package you want (InternetMAX or UnlimitedMAX).
   • Scroll until you see package options, choose your location, and click "More Details”.
   • Find the information about Local Quota in the Terms and Conditions section.
2. Via UMB
   • When purchasing a package via UMB, you’ll see a menu. Choose “6. Cek Lokasi Kuota Lokal”.
   • You’ll see the info about your current location and the Local Quota’s area coverage.
   • After purchasing the package or while checking your quota status, you’ll get a notification containing a link to check the Local Quota (tsel.me/lokal).
3. Via MyTelkomsel App
   • On the package detail page, you’ll find the Local Quota details on the info section or Terms & Conditions tab.
   • After purchasing the package or while checking your quota status, you’ll get a notification containing a link to check the Local Quota (tsel.me/lokal).
   • On MyTelkomsel dashboard, click your internet quota to see quota details. If you have a Local Quota, click and you’ll see a city list where the quota is usable.
