Activate Telkomsel billing on Google Play

Open Google Play

Go to Google Play Store and click “Account” at the top right corner.

Choose payment

On your account, choose “Payments & Subscriptions” menu.

Set payment method

Inside Payments & Subscriptions, choose “Payment Methods”.

Add Telkomsel

Tap “Add Telkomsel Billing”, enter confirmation page, tap “Enable/Activate”.

Confirm the activation

Check SMS from 99477 containing a code. You’ve successfully added Telkomsel billing.

How to shop on Google Play with Halo

1. Go to the app

Go to the app and choose the item denomination you want to purchase.

2. Choose payment

On the confirmation page, choose Telkomsel payment. Tap “Tax” for details.

3. Confirm payment

Tap “1-Tap Buy” button. Submit email password or scan fingerprint to confirm.

4. Receive SMS

Check the notification containing price: price + PMSE tax + VAT + 7% service fee.

5. Receive e-mail

You will also receive a transaction receipt from Google Play Store via email.

How to request a refund

Access account

Go to Google Play Store and click “Account” at the top right corner.

Help menu

On your account menu, choose “Help & Feedback” menu.

Request a refund

On the Support page, choose “Request a refund on Google Play”.

Read the T&C

Ensure you understand the refund terms & conditions. Tap "Next”.

Confirm email

Confirm the email you use for shopping. If it’s correct, choose “Yes”.

Choose transaction

Select the transaction which you're requesting a refund for.

Choose the reason

Select the reason why you’re requesting a refund.

Send the request

Check the details and tap "Request Refund”. Wait for Google’s approval.

How to unsubscribe

Go to Google Play Store and click “Account” at the top right corner.
On your account, choose “Payments & Subscriptions” menu.
Choose “Subscriptions”.
Choose the app/digital service you want to unsubscribe.
Tap “Cancel Subscription”.

Ensure the payment method selected is Telkomsel Halo.

Price Details

Below is the price simulation of game top-up or app purchase using Telkomsel credit: If you buy an item/product worth Rp42,000, the price becomes: Item Price + PMSE which is Rp46,620. Then, if you pay using Telkomsel credit, the calculation is: Item Price + PMSE + VAT + Service Fee (7%) = Rp55,012.

Additional Information

The transaction value on Google Play is inclusive of tax. So, there is a difference because the transaction value on Telkomsel Halo's temporary bill does not include tax and service fees (VAT), so there is a difference. The transaction value on the final invoice will remain after tax. Example:

You buy an app for Rp55,500 (tax included) on Google Play.
Temporary bill will add Rp50,000 (not including tax).
Final billing issued after the billing period ends will add Rp55,500 (tax included).

If you choose a transaction value that does not include tax, then your Halo temporary bill will increase according to the transaction value listed. The transaction value on the final invoice will still be subject to an additional 11% VAT. Example:

You buy an app for Rp50,000 (not including tax) on Google Play.
Temporary bill will add Rp50,000 (not including tax).
Final billing issued after the billing period ends will add Rp55,500 (tax included).

Digital content purchases using Telkomsel Halo billing can only be done on smartphone with Android system through Google Play Store application.
The amount charged on Telkomsel Halo billing already includes tax and service fee.
Halo Google Play payment method is only valid for Telkomsel Halo customers with available Domestic Temporary Usage or Credit Limit Service.
Transactions with subscription on Google Play will automatically be charged on the next billing every month.
If your Credit Limit Service reaches its limit, you can upgrade the current limit via Call Center 188 or the nearest GraPARI. After successfully upgrading your limit, you can continue your transaction on Google Play using Telkomsel Halo billing.
Based on certain considerations based on Telkomsel's own policies from time to time, or if requested, ordered, or instructed by laws and regulations or authorized parties, Telkomsel with and/or without prior notification to Customers, has the right to make updates, changes and adjustments to the types of packages, benefits and/or other derivative services available on Telkomsel Halo (kartuHalo) Customers ("Telkomsel Halo Services").
Unless otherwise specified by Telkomsel and while still considering the rights of Customers, updates, changes and adjustments to Telkomsel Halo Services may have an impact on the unilateral transfer (migration) of Telkomsel Halo Services that Customers are currently using by Telkomsel.
Customers will receive the additional data quota immediately after a successful transaction. Meanwhile, the bill discount will be given after the customer's bill is paid.
