Additional Information
What is the definition of Payment in Advance (PIA)?
PIA or Payment in Advance is a payment method for Fixed Broadband services in which customers can enjoy the service after making the full monthly payment in advance. Currently, PIA only applies to new customers.
Have all Fixed Broadband services implemented PIA?
Currently, the only Telkomsel Fixed Broadband service that implements PIA is EZnet.
Has PIA been implemented nationally for EZnet installations?
Currently, the PIA method is being piloted for new EZnet customers in selected locations where this package is available. Registrations start on June 30, 2026 in pilot cities.
How does payment work for EZnet services under the PIA method?
Customers are required to pay for the service in advance on a monthly basis, no later than one day before the start of each billing period (D-1). The monthly due date remains the same as the initial service activation date.
The first payment is made after the EZnet service has been installed and activated by the technician at the installation address and includes the service fee and VAT. Subsequently, customers can make payments as early as 10 (ten) days before the due date until D-1, based on the payment notification sent via email.
Will I receive payment reminders for my monthly payments?
Yes. Customers will receive payment reminders via the email address registered during service registration. Reminder emails will be sent in three stages: D-10, D-5, and D-2 before the payment due date.
What happens if I do not make payment by the due date?
If the customer fails to make payment by the due date, the internet service will be suspended. To reactivate the service, the customer must first settle the outstanding service fee.
Does the payment due date change every month?
No. The payment due date remains the same every month. If the customer makes payment after the due date, the customer will enjoy a shorter service period for that month.
What happens if I do not make payments for several consecutive months?
If the customer fails to make payments for a maximum of two consecutive billing periods, the service will be deactivated, and the customer will no longer be able to use the service.
How do I reactivate a deactivated service?
Customers whose service has been deactivated after two unpaid billing periods will be charged a reactivation fee equivalent to one month's service fee, in addition to paying the service fee for the upcoming month.
What if I want to terminate the service before 12 months?
The customer will be charged an early termination fee of Rp1,000,000.
What payment channels are available?
Customers can only make payments through the virtual account sent to their registered email address. Therefore, customers must provide a valid email address during service registration.
Can customers using the PIA method switch to another package?
Currently, customers using the PIA payment method cannot switch to other packages.
Can customers using the PIA method subscribe to add-on packages?
Customers using the PIA payment method can subscribe to add-on services under a prepaid scheme, such as Speed on Demand, Upload Booster, and Speed Refreshment.
Are there packages that include telephone or TV services?
Currently, the PIA payment method is only being piloted for EZnet internet services.
