About the role

INDICO is a subsidiary of Telkomsel, Indonesia's leading digital telecom company. INDICO plays a strategic role as a holding company that houses prospective vertical digital business portfolios, including Kuncie (edu-tech), Fita (health-tech), and Majamojo (game). As a digital platform company, INDICO aims to leverage Telkomsel’s assets and capabilities to create a flywheel effect of innovations to develop cross-sectoral digital solutions that will empower Indonesia’s digital economy. We are looking for an exceptional Procurement Officer who can help us find the best talent to scale our product in Indonesia.


  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchase activity in the organization;
  • Conduct the purchase of products and services in the organization which has acceptable quality, which can fulfill business requirement from company, but in efficient cost;
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers capability, requirement from Users, and price options through compressive and efficient approach;
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment;
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data related to procurement process;
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers in a professional way;
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development through researching and evaluating prospective suppliers;
  • Monitoring and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
  • Work with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed including to provide recommendations on improvement of Procurement activities in the organization.
  • Minimum 3 years overall procurement experience as a buyer. Having experience in startup or digital company will be an advantages;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent;
  • Having strong analytical skills, exceptional financial acumen and technology aptitude, and result-oriented mindset;
  • Able to give ideas for procurement strategies that are innovative and cost-effective, monitoring business trends and product availability to obtain best price for company’s goods and services;
  • Strong stakeholder management, being able to build strong relationship with internal stakeholder such as users, management and any related internal parties, and external stakeholder for Procurement activities – suppliers, service providers, consultants or any related parties;
  • Strong ability to negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers. Able to take decisions in the contractual negotiations through risk management in protecting interest of the company;
  • Completely self-directed and excellent at effectively managing time, defining work packages, and prioritizing work for self and others;
  • Hands-on mentality, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Having exceptional communication skills to express its ideas and recommendations;
  • Excellent (native-equivalent) verbal & written English, and Bahasa Indonesia.
