What is SAFE app?

SAFE is an app to protect and monitor your children’s online activities.

Who can use SAFE app?

All Telkomsel customers (kartuHalo, simPATI, KARTU As, Loop) who use Android smartphones (currently until February, 2020 this app is only available on Android).

How do I get SAFE app?

  • Open Google Play Store on your Android device.
  • Type and search “SAFE Parental Control App”.
  • Or, simply click this link: http://tsel.me/safe_TC.
  • Download and install.

What features are available on SAFE app?

  • Find out your children’s location.
  • Monitor the website and application usage (porn, gambling, etc).
  • Report your children’s device usage for a week.
  • Automatically block dangerous contents (Premium only).
  • Control your children’s daily activity (Premium only).
  • Manage your children’s device usage time limitation (Premium only).

What is Premium features upgrade?

It means upgrading your app to the paid version where you can get upgraded features such as:

  • Automatically block dangerous contents.
  • Control your children’s daily activity.
  • Manage your children’s device usage time limitation.

What kind of online threats can SAFE app protect my children from?

  • Cyber-bullying.
  • Inappropriate websites.
  • Suspicious communication such as sexual contents, etc.

How do I add my child’s device to the app?

You can add your child’s device using your (parent) device by following these steps:

  • Click "Add".
  • Fill in the details.
  • Click "Done".

Can I also add parent’s device?

No, only one parent’s device can control several children’s devices—but not the opposite.

How do I use location monitoring?

Using the parent’s device, please follow these steps:

  • Choose the child’s profile.
  • Click the location GPS.
  • Find your child’s location.

How do I use website and application monitoring?

Using the parent’s device, please follow these steps:

  • Choose the child’s profile.
  • Choose history of your child’s activity.
  • See the activity.
  • Click to see the activity’s details.

How do I see the details of my child’s device usage for the last 1 week?

  • Choose "Snapshots" feature on the menu at the bottom.
  • You will find "Usage" page.
  • Choose previous week ("Last week") activities from the drop down menu.

How do I block dangerous content and application?

  • Please make sure you upgrade to Premium.
  • Choose "Internet Filter & Rules".
  • Choose the category and find the feature.
  • Manage what contents and apps are allowed and not allowed.

How do I control my children’s daily routines?

  • Please make sure you upgrade to Premium.
  • Choose and swipe the routines type according the time you prefer.
