Jakarta, February 20th 2018Telkomsel encourages subscribers to immediately register their prepaid numbers with valid identifications. The deadline for prepaid customer registration is February 28, 2018.

Telkomsel’s Vice President of Corporate Communications Adita Irawati said, "Prepaid number registration is very useful in providing convenience and ease of service for customers, especially in providing protection to customers to avoid crime actions and acts of misuse of services performed by irresponsible parties. We appeal to customers not to wait for the last day to register to avoid heavy traffic on the registration system.

The obligation of prepaid subscriber registration is the official government policy as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Information and Communication Technology Number 12 Year 2016 regarding the registration of telecommunication service subscribers. Subscribers are required to register their prepaid number using the Primary Identification Number (NIK) in electronic ID card or Family Card (KK) and KK number.

Existing customers of simPATI, Kartu As, and LOOP can re-register by sending SMS to 4444 by typing ULANG <space> NIK#KK#. For new or prospective customers, just type REG <space> NIK#KK# and send SMS to 4444. Customers can also register prepaid number through the web by accessing https://tsel.me/reg. Telkomsel also provides a variety of services to enable customers to easily register, such as *444# access menu, Call Center 188, MyGraPARI self-service machine, GraPARI Virtual service (virtual assistance via LINE, Facebook Messenger, Telegram), MyTelkomsel web and applications, as well as GraPARI service centers.

"We have prepared an adequate system so that customers can be comfortable registering their prepaid numbers. We also have provided the customer service line to serve customers who need information and assistance in registering customer data,” said Adita.

Telkomsel provides a bonus for prepaid subscribers who have re-registered in the form of data quota of 10 GB, 150 minutes of phone, and 75 SMS for only IDR 10. This bonus package is valid for three days and offered automatically via SMS for successful subscribers who has been subscribed for more than three months. In addition, by topping up a minimum of IDR 20,000, customers who have already registered their numbers can also enjoy the “Modal Jempol” package for IDR 10 with quota of data up to 5 GB for two days of usage.
