What is a Compack UKM?

Compack UKM is a combo package that’s a communication solution for SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises) in Indonesia who want to provide communication allowances for their employees (from 5 to 150 persons). This is in the form of packages that include calls and unlimited SMS to fellow members of the company (employees and owners) who have been registered in one group, call and SMS with certain value limits to all domestic (both mobile and fixed-line) operators, and Internet access.

What is the price and quota value of the Compack UKM?

  • Compack UKM has two common variants that offer different quota values as can be seen in the table below.
  • In addition to being distinguished from the two common variants, each variant of the Compack UKM is also differentiated into three tiers based on the number of child numbers enrolled in one group. In principle, the price falls as the number of child groups increases.
  • In addition, the price of the Compack UKM varies based on the initial activation location of the package by the pilot number. Nationally, there are 5 zones at their respective prices for each variant and pricing tier of the Compack UKM .

Who can subscribe to the Compack UKM?

  • Only prepaid numbers (KARTU As/simPATI/Loop) can be registered as child numbers under the Compack UKM .
  • As of June 16, 2015, both postpaid (kartuHalo) and prepaid (simPATI, KARTU As, Loop) numbers may be registered as a pilot number (SME owner's subscriber number registered to absorb the subscription fee of the Compack UKM from an employee of an SME) under the Compack UKM .

When can I start subscribing to the Compack UKM?

Customers may start subscribing to Compack UKM from April 14, 2017.

What is a pilot number in terms of Compack UKM?

The pilot number is the SME owner's customer ID registered to absorb the Compack UKM subscription fee from employees of an SME.

What is a child number in terms of Compack UKM?

Child number is the SME employee customer ID registered to enjoy the value of the Compack UKM quota.

Can subscribers register prepaid numbers (KARTU As/simPATI/Loop) as pilot numbers?

As of June 16, 2015, both postpaid (kartuHalo) and prepaid (simPATI, KARTU As, Loop) numbers may be registered as a pilot number (SME owner ID subscribers are registered to absorb subscription fees for Compack UKM from employees of an SME) under the Compack UKM.

Can subscribers register a postpaid number (kartuHalo) as a child number?

No, only prepaid numbers can be registered as a child number.

What determines the pricing of the Compack UKM offered to the pilot number?

The pricing tier determination for Compack UKM is based on the number of child numbers enrolled in 1 group. Example: For MITRA+ Packages, the pilot number will be billed:

  • Rp115.000 per child number if registering 5-9 child numbers
  • Rp105.000 per child number if registering 10-14 child numbers
  • Rp95.000 per child number if registering 15 or more child numbers

What happens when the customer group grows to the limit of the new pricing tier (i.e. when the number of child numbers rises to 10, and when the number of child numbers rises to 15)?

  • In that period, the charge to the pilot number will be based on the most number of child numbers multiplied by the appropriate pricing tiers. Example: For MITRA+ Packages, if the highest number of child numbers in the period is 10, then the charge that will appear on the pilot number is 10 x Rp105.000.
  • In the next period, the charge will be the same, as long as there is no change of package and the number of child numbers.

What happens when the subscriber group decreases to the limit of the new pricing tier (i.e. when the number of child numbers drops to 9, and when the number of child numbers drops to 14)?

  • In that period, the charge to the pilot number will be based on the most number of child numbers multiplied by the appropriate pricing tiers. Example: For MITRA+ Packages, if the largest number of child numbers in the period is 10, while the child numbers status at the end of billing cycle is 9, then the bill that will appear on the pilot number is 10 x Rp105.000.
  • In the next period, the charge is 9 x Rp115.000, as long as there are no package changes and the number of child numbers.
