  • All Telkomsel postpaid (kartuHalo) and prepaid (simPATI, KARTU As, Loop) customers can join this program.
  • For now, this program only applies in 60 cities in Indonesia.

Switch to 4G Now!

You can switch from 3G to 4G by visiting:
  • The nearest GraPARI.
  • Outlets which provide Telkomsel 4G SIM cards.
  • Mini market.
  • E-Commerce.
You can also try the self-service feature by following these steps:
  • Dial *888*46# and choose “Ya, terima PIN 4G” (to receive a 4G PIN).
  • Click OK on the notification.
  • The 4G PIN will be sent via SMS.
  • Dial *888*46# and enter the 4G PIN you received from your old SIM card.
  • Click OK on the notification and wait for the next notification via SMS.
  • You will receive a successful notification, also sent via SMS.

It is a program encouraging customers to replace their 3G SIM card with 4G with additional data quota of up to 30GB, and only applies in 60 cities in Indonesia.

When does Switching to 4G program start?

This program starts from March 5th to May 31st, 2021.

Where do I join this program?

You can join this program via the nearest GraPARI, outlet, mini market and e-commerce.

Who can join this program?

All Telkomsel postpaid (kartuHalo) and prepaid (simPATI, KARTU As, Loop) customers can join this program.

What will I get by joining this program?

  • High Value Customers (HVC) will get the chance to receive up to 30GB data quota.
  • Regular customers will get the chance to receive 15GB data quota.

What if I didn’t switch my 3G SIM card to 4G?

You can still use your old card. However, we recommend you to switch to the 4G SIM card to enjoy faster internet access.

How do I know if my SIM card and device already support 4G network?

  • To check your SIM card information, check via UMB *888*47# and then choose “1. Cek Kartu” (check SIM card).
  • To check your device information, check via UMB *888*47# and then choose “2. Cek Ponsel” (check device).

What are the benefits of switching to 4G SIM card?

You will get the best experience in accessing internet with stable and maximum speed on Telkomsel 4G network.

What about corporate customers who want to switch to 4G?

Corporate customers can make card changes independently or collectively via online or offline. For collective card replacement, the company coordinator can send an email to cs@telkomsel.co.id or contact the Telkomsel Account Manager (AM) to get free SIM card delivery services as well as further information on card replacement.

What if my 4G SIM card is not yet active or hasn’t connected to a network?
