Where do I purchase FreedomMAX Internet Starter Pack?

FreedomMAX package can be purchased and activated via the nearest outlet. You can recharge FreedomMAX package directly without changing your card.

Is there any time or location limitation to activate and use FreedomMAX package?

  • FreedomMAX package can be activated for 24 hours.
  • FreedomMAX can be used for 30 days.
  • You can activate this package a maximum of 10 times in a month.
  • FreedomMAX package can only be purchased and activated in some selected cities (check the list above).

Can all Telkomsel existing prepaid customers purchase FreedomMAX Internet Starter Pack package?

FreedomMAX package can only be purchased by new Telkomsel customers or prepaid customers (simPATI, KARTU As, and Loop) who have purchased FreedomMAX package before.

How do I use Unlimited Apps Quota?

  • If your Unlimited Apps Quota runs out/exceed the fair usage limit/if you access apps that are not included in the Unlimited Apps list, your Main Quota will be consumed.
  • If your Unlimited Apps Quota runs out/exceed the fair usage limit and your Main Quota runs out as well, your internet speed will be slowed down to 64Kpbs.

How do I make sure I have successfully activated FreedomMAX package?

You can immediately use the FreedomMAX package after you receive a notification SMS. You can check your remaining quota via:

  • “Check Status” menu at *363#.
  • “Check Internet Quota” menu at *888#.
  • Menu status on MyTelkomsel App.

Can I re-purchase FreedomMAX package?

Yes, you can re-purchase this package via MyTelkomsel App or the nearest outlet with the following details:

  • FreedomMAX 10K package can only be purchased once. You can purchase FreedomMAX 25K, FreedomMAX 60K, or other packages in the next month.
  • FreedomMAX 25K package can be purchased multiple times for 6 months.
  • FreedomMAX 60K package can be purchased any time without a time limit (only for customers who have purchased the FreedomMAX package before).
  • FreedomMAX 1GB/7 days package can be purchased any time without a time limit (only for customers who have purchased FreedomMAX package before).

  1. By using FreedomMAX Starter Pack, you agree to obey all Telkomsel service’s terms and conditions from time to time, for every service you get by using FreedomMAX Starter Pack.
  2. Telkomsel has the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, with prior notice through mass media or Telkomsel’s official website (www.telkomsel.com).
  3. Telkomsel has the right to stop the whole service or partially, including blocking the number, if the user allegedly uses this card for activities prohibited by the law and Telkomsel’s terms and conditions, or due to a request from an authorized party.
  4. The registration of SIM card has to be done correctly. If the registration is done incorrectly or does not follow the rules, Telkomsel has the right to deactivate the number and all of its services.
  5. PIN & PUK: Please use your private PIN to protect your privacy. Activate your PIN by entering Standard PIN (1234), and change it with your new personal PIN by contacting 04[Standard PIN][NEW PIN][NEW PIN]#. If you enter the incorrect PIN three times, your simPATI number will be blocked. To unblock it, you have to enter PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) number. You can get a PUK number by calling Telkomsel’s Customer Service.

FREEDOMMAX PACKAGE TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. For new prepaid customers (simPATI, KARTU As, and Loop), the price includes tax.
  2. Only valid for domestic use (International Roaming will be charged separately).
  3. The package notification will be sent via SMS before the package’s validity period ended.
  4. As long as you already have an active package, you can access the internet using the quota although you don’t have a credit balance. If your quota has run out and you don’t have any data package, you will be charged with a normal basic tariff (non-package).
  5. The internet package is valid nationally as long as the Telkomsel network is available, unless for certain packages that can only be used in certain areas.
  6. Telkomsel has the right to limit and block the service (voice, SMS, or internet) if there is any indication of Telkomsel service misuse or fraud with or without tools, and any other usage that does not follow the law and regulations.
  7. Telkomsel is not responsible for any misuse of Telkomsel products and services by other parties, and for contents or packages that are not in accordance with Telkomsel’s official product specifications.
  8. Telkomsel is not responsible for any misuse of Telkomsel products and services by other parties, and for contents that have been sent or accessed using the Telkomsel network.
  9. Basically, Telkomsel will provide the best speed and access for customers. However, there are a few conditions that can cause a disruption in our services such as network availability, topography factor, population density, the building’s thickness, the type of device, the time of usage, the amount of Telkomsel users, the distance with the nearest BTS tower, and other factors.
  10. Telkomsel has the right to renew, close, raise, or reduce the tariff and quota, also the quality of the service by the following considerations:
    • Ordered by the authority.
    • The service is no longer suitable for the current technology.
    • The service is no longer used and will be diverted to another similar service.
    • Other considerations that are deemed reasonable and appropriate by Telkomsel.
  1. Related to service renewals conducted by Telkomsel, customers agree to exempt Telkomsel from any demands and legal liability that emerged from the policy.
